HSI designed a cornice over all the windows and doors to add ambient light to the living room, and it also doubled as a way to hide the window coverings when not in use. With all furniture floating in the room, lighting was key. New custom bookcases and mantel were added, along with a new open staircase to create an open floor plan on the main living floor.
